The downing and salvage of the K-14 is the subject of Islesford Historical Society Occaisional Paper #3 published in July 1992. This latest report concludes, as did the IHS paper, that the K-14 was sgit diwb vy a German submarine not wrecked due to "pilot error" as the Navy concluded.
